These terms govern your use of Frontier Bylines (the "Publication"), which is operated by Lumenwhite Media Holdings Pte Ltd ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to any part of them, please do not use the site.

The site as published

The Publication is provided to you on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties as to its uninterrupted availability, the accuracy of any specific article beyond the corrections discipline described in our editorial guidelines, or the suitability of its content for any particular purpose. We are a long-form editorial publication; we are not investment advice, legal counsel, medical guidance, or any other regulated form of professional service.

Copyright

All editorial content on the site — articles, photographs, design, layout, and the wordmark — is the property of Lumenwhite Media Holdings Pte Ltd. Writers retain the moral rights in their bylined work as a matter of editorial principle, but copyright in the published expression of those pieces sits with the operating entity.

Republication and fair use

Quoting a sentence, paragraph, or short passage from a Frontier Bylines piece for purposes of review, commentary, scholarship, or news reporting is permitted under standard fair-use doctrine, provided the quotation is attributed to Frontier Bylines and a link to the original piece is included. Republishing a full piece — in another publication, in print, on a translation site, in a course packet, or in a derivative product — requires written permission. Translation and republication requests go to press@frontierbylines.com. We respond within several business days.

Use of the Publication's content to train large language models, recommendation systems, or other machine-learning systems is permitted on a case-by-case basis with prior written agreement, on terms we are happy to negotiate openly with serious operators. Unauthorized training use is not consented to.

Acceptable use

You may read the site, share links to its pieces, and quote those pieces under fair use. You may not: attempt to interfere with the operation of the site; scrape the site at a rate that imposes material burden on our infrastructure (rate-limited polite scraping is fine — if in doubt, contact the editorial address); republish full pieces without permission; impersonate the Publication, its operating entity, or any of its contributors; or use the site's content in a way that is misleading, defamatory, or unlawful.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Lumenwhite Media Holdings Pte Ltd nor any of its contributors will be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of your use of the Publication. Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our aggregate liability is limited to the price you paid us for access to the site, which is zero.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lumenwhite Media Holdings Pte Ltd and its contributors from any claim arising out of your misuse of the Publication, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

Third-party links

Articles on the site contain links to external publications, organizations, and resources. We do not control those external sites and are not responsible for their content. The presence of an external link is not an endorsement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, where Lumenwhite Media Holdings Pte Ltd is incorporated. Disputes arising out of or relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

Changes

We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page, in the newsletter, and on the corrections page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
